The Callaway Big Bertha Ladies Fusion heads have been specifically engineered to maximise club head speed through a very sleek, aerodynamic design. The return of the triangular head shape, boosts MOI and also improves airflow, to reduce drag and consequently increase clubhead speed. An internal 'skeleton' called the Exo-cage allows Callaway to strategically place the most effective CG location, for maximum performance benefits. A new Triaxial Crown is 35% lighter than a normal titanium driver and this helps save lots of weight, that can be re-positioned. Usually, a longer shaft provides more club head speed. So you would expect this in the Fusion, as it is designed for distance. The shaft is actually shorter than standard to increase control. This is successful, due to the technology in the head that deals with the distance side of things, whilst the shaft works on dispersion and control.
