Rare set of Tour Issue R9 TP irons. This set is special. Truly a tour only item. These are the original B irons that were only issued to TM PGA tour staff. These B irons are pre B stamp and not to be confused with the mass produced B stamp R9 irons that were available to the public. Not many sets of these around and certainly only a precious few in top condition like these. These look and feel like forged irons even though they are soft cast. If you've been a fan of TM tour irons for any length of time, you may have heard the term soft cast. This is no joke. These irons are much softer than many so called forged irons. They look and feel amazing. You can see the comparison to a standard tour issue RP TP iron in the last 3 pics. Ultra thin top lines, basically zero off-set and a thinner tour grind sole. Basically a tour blade disguised as a R9 TP. A genius move by TaylorMade considering there is not much demand for blades by the general public.Set is 3-pw (8 clubs)
