BRAND NEW Ping Eye 2 Square Grooved Irons Set (3-PW) 1984-1990 "Patent Pending" Models This is a mint condition, unused set of orange dot Ping Eye 2 irons (8 irons: 3-9 irons and pitching wedge) with square U grooves and matching serial numbers. All clubs are in original packaging just as they arrived from Karsten Mfg. Corp. They will be shipped to you in the same box that were shipped to me in, postmarked August 1984. These vintage clubs have ZZ Lite Steel shafts and were one of the first Ping heads to use square U grooves. This set was made in 1984, and each iron has the following unique marking - "Karsten Mfg. Corp. Phoenix, AZ 85068" that runs from the toe of the head to the heel, - which makes it appear "right side up" when looking at this lettering when the club is in a golf bag. It's very hard to find these clubs in unused condition and in the original packaging. Don't let a chance to bid on rare clubs like these pass you by!
