Excellent condition scared neck Brassie made by the famous Forgan St Andrews clubmaker around 1890s ., Forgan was named to make golf clubs for the Prince of Wales in 1863 .After that he punched the prince of Wales Plume on all his clubs . When the prince of Wales became King in 1901 Fogan then began using the crown mark . This particular has a great stamp , straight shaft and appropriate period sheepskin grip .. Pretty wide scare neck . Horn insert on face and good bass on bottom with lead backweight , a lightly used club . The earlier clubs were long noses but the shaped changed to bulgur head in late 1880's .fine example.
