Description
This Wilson 8802 is about as pure as they come. As you can see from the photos, the frosting is still very visible on the face and flange. The shaft is the original Head Speed shaft with the Red/Green/Silver shaft band, which is 100% intact. The grip is the fat, black, leather grip with the silver bead. The grip is absolutely perfect. The face depth is 15/16", indicating the correct depth for the original head. The painting on the sole is all black, which is unusual for this model year, but the shaft, shaft band and grip indicate that this was one of the first issues. This shaft and grip were used originally on the "Designed By Arnold Palmer" putter but were used on the first 8802 putters until they were used up.
