OMG !!! This driver is truly Long and Straight. It's now worthwhile to stop watching and come off the sidewalk and get a driver that's truly the best driver- ever!I haven't purchased a new driver since 2009 when I went down to Callaway Fitting Studio at their Headquarters in Carlsbad, CA and was fitted for a set of clubs that included the FT-9 Driver. Since then, I haven't been impressed by any other driver or newer ones that seemed to only have a slight improvement over the FT-9. That all changed when, while playing with a club member who plays on the Canadian Tour, he told me about what Callaway had done with the new EPIC Drivers. The point he made was that while the "Jail-Break" technology was so impactful that it made his towering 320+ yard drives even better, it actually helped the amateur players swing even more. It was more forgiving on off-center hits without a great sacrifice of distance. I was so impressed that I went down to my local golf store the next day, spent 1 hour trying different head and shaft combinations while being fitted using the latest version of Trackman- the swing analyzer. Afterward, I went to the counter and paid the full retail price of $499 + tax for one. The total was almost $540! Then because the special Bassara shaft (available in another listing) had to be ordered I had to wait 2 weeks to get it. I received it on April 7th and have been loving it ever since.Let me back up. I said I paid FULL RETAIL. I hate to pay retail for anything, especially golf equipment. I'm usually the guy that waits for two years so that I can get the club I originally wanted for 1/2 the price. Since I didn't do that this time, this should give you reason to pause and ask the question: "Was it worth it?"... Yup, it's absolutely worth every penny! The next question you should be asking: "If it's so good, then why am I selling it?"I'm selling it because I just don't need two of them. I just won a new one, so now I'm free to pass this on to another golfer that doesn't have to pay full retail as I did! Here's what you get:Excellent condition, nearly new condition . No weird marks on the crown or the sole. Ready for playing. Comes as pictured.Great Big Bertha 2017 EPIC Driver 9 Degree HEAD ONLY, Regular Flex (Plus) ... more like the old "Firm" shafts from the Steelhead III days.(Don't be fooled, I have always used Stiff Graphite shafts- especially the Driver. But based on the Track Man analysis, I picked up 17 extra yards using this ultra lightweight Regular Bassara. I was told previously that the Bassara line of shafts is Callaway's Top of the line shaft. Previously that $200+ shaft was a $100 upgrade. For the EPIC, however, it's one of the choices available but only via special order at Callaway- no discounts. Most stores don't stock the Bassara shafts because the other stock Callaway shafts are available at a discount to them.)Matching EPIC head cover also in excellent condition.Callaway Head toolREFUNDS AND RETURNS ACCEPTED BUT with conditions... only if I didn't send you what I described in the listing and you'll have to provide evidence (photos) that I did not. Otherwise, NO returns or refunds. Bottom line, I don't want a buyer turning my almost new club into a demo club by playing many rounds of golf with it and then come up with some absurd reason to return it for a refund. If you don't agree with this conditional Return Policy, please do not by my club.INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Before you Bid, click on the "shipping" tab and then click on the "calculate" tab so that you can know what your additional shipping and import costs are. Then when you Bid, your bid price also includes the additional shipping, handling, and import costs. If you live in a country where the eBay Global Shipping Program is not available, there are two options for shipping: USPS First Class International or Priority Express. IF YOU USE THE LOWER COST SHIPPING SERVICE (INTERNATIONAL FIRST CLASS) AND YOUR PACKAGE IS LOST BY YOUR LOCAL MAIL SERVICE, YOU GIVE UP THE RIGHT TO CLAIM THAT YOUR PACKAGE WAS NOT DELIVERED. If you choose the more expensive USPS Priority Mail Express, then delivery is guaranteed and you have no risk of loss from your local delivery service. Please see my other listings... It's about time I make a serious effort in clearing out all my storage lockers! Long Time Mercedes Club Member clearing out my whole 15 year inventory of Mercedes Model 124 and R129 parts... also some parts and clothing from my Ferrari years. I've got a bunch and will be selling them in lot batches. These are often hard to find parts. You are going to need these parts some day. Have a back up part at the ready. Like I did, get one now while you can still find them in good shape and before you absolutely need it and are forced to pay more than what you want. If you are looking for a specific part that you don’t see listed here or anywhere else for a price that makes sense to you, let me know what you need and what you would be willing to pay for it. I have lots of contacts that don’t eBay and might be willing. I’ll set up a custom listing for you.
