Rare JCB Excavator Carbon SL2 64 Degree Lob Rescue Wedge Golf Club Merchandise

Rare JCB Excavator Carbon SL2 64 Degree Lob Rescue Wedge Golf Club MerchandiseWe have contacted JCB personally to ask them more about this club as we couldn't find anything when researching it at all - we have pasted their response below for your information and amusement - Thanks for your email and glad to hear of your JCB find!  The golf club was a relatively short lived part of our licensed range some 15 years ago by a company who made golf clubs for Calloway Golf and other brands.  The range came about when one of their exec team heard Terry Wogan discuss a torrid round of golf on his Radio Two programme saying he 'needed a JCB to get him out of the sand'.   3 lofted sand wedge clubs were produced under licence and made in relatively small hundreds of volume, so relatively rare.  There was a one off driver made also but that is another story!... Why not grab a strange and potentially very rare bit of sporting or construction memorabilia for your own collection - or for your friend who enjoys golf and just so happens to be a JCB operator perhaps? :)Alternatively the club is a well designed 64 Degree rescue/lob wedge for getting you out of sticky situations on the course if you've had a misadventure into a Bunker or a stubborn patch of rough.Club is in fair condition - Only used for a couple of months by my father over a twenty year period! One side of the grip is worn more than the other and the head has some damp damage from storage. Club face in quite heavily marked Small nick to the yellow paintwork on the shaft. From a pet free and smoke free home.
