FOR AUCTION : Scotty Cameron Coronado Putter refurbishment. The colour achieved is a deep carbon black. It looks superb. Length overall - 35" Approx. head weight - 330 grms. Lie- 71 degrees Loft- 4 degrees This model design is a classic blade design from the Scotty Cameron 'stable' and has classic lines and is great to look at. It was first brought to market around 1996 and takes design cues from the earlier Scottsman 941. It has a carbon steel head weighing circa 330 grms. and is 35" long. The white sight Dot stands out at address against the black finish of the Putter and helps alignment at set up. The Carbon Steel is softer at impact than other metals used in Putter heads such as Stainless Steel. The hosel has minimal offset and promotes a ‘toe flow’ out-to-in stroke. It follows design cues from more classical blades but with a rear flange that assists weight and balance. The putter head has had all the rust removed and all 'ding's', 'knocks' and major scratches taken out. It has then been re-polished to a very high standard and the words / motifs re-touched as needed. This has been followed by a 4- stage chemical blackening chemical etch that provides a very hard wearing surface. The finished putter looks terrific. A penetrating oil process is also applied to give up to 18 months of corrosion protection. This can be extended by giving the putter head a careful wipe down with a gun cloth [oil] or similar after each use. These can be bought on E Bay for about £5 separately. A small gun wipe will be included as well as some more detailed care notes to get things going. The shaft is in very good condition with the original Cameron Brand sticker intact and also the care notes sticker too which is very rare- see photos.The grip is a Brand New Red original CAMERON corded grip with White letters. A Cameron Black with Red circles 'CIRCLE T' putter head cover is included with the Putter again a rarity. This quality of refurbishment is fairly rare in this condition today and if properly looked after should hold its value. It will be sent fully protected, boxed, and by a signed for, tracked and insured courier. This would be a great putter to use or for the collector.
