The Titleist 816H2 has a more compact head shape than the 816H1 hybrid and features the same kind of offset that you will find in a long iron so that the ball flies a little lower and you can achieve the workability and shot shaping of a long iron just with incredible amounts of forgiveness. A low centre of gravity (CG) and a high moment of inertia (MOI) increase the head stability of the head on the 816H2 hybrid so that when you are hitting from the rough both the CG and MOI help cut through the rough whilst still giving you incredible control over accuracy and distance. To further enhance distance and accuracy control Titleist have used their active recoil channel and their thinnest face ever on this hybrid. The combination of both help the whole face flex evenly so that you get the same results from middle, heel or toe strikes as well as incredible ball speeds.
