This is a RARE set of hickory shaft "Recorder" irons circa 1928-32 made by George Nicoll of Scotland. They are in excellent condition. Included is a 10 Putter, 1 Iron, 2 Iron, 3 Iron, 4 Iron, 5 Mashie Iron, 6 Mashie, 7 Spade Mashie, 8 Mashie Niblick, 9 Niblick. The heads are chromed which may have been done by the manufacturer as chroming was a option that George Nicoll and Tom Stewart offered. The hickory shafts are firm and stamped "Hand Made" and appear to be the original shafts. The black leather grips all look to be original. Head stampings are all bold. 5 Mashie Length = 37 1/2".
