This is a first edition THE ART of PUTTING by William Park, Jr. The Park family from Musselburgh won the Open Championship seven times, Willie's two victories coming in 1887 & 1889. The book was first published in Edinburgh by J. & J. Gray Company in 1920. This book is the first American edition, copyright 1921. There are 47 numbered pages with illustrations. The binding is mostly tight as can bee seen by the curved pages in the photos. The middle of the book at pages 23-24 will lay flat when open. The boards are very clean because the book has been in a plastic jacket for many years. I see no writing or inscriptions. The over all condition is very good +, but please view the photos and decide for yourself. All books of this age have some foxing, discoloration, soiling, corner dings, etc. If you have any questions please ask.This book has been carefully stored in a smoke free, pet free home for some 20+ years.I ship only to the USA.
