This is an incredibly rare 1968 Ping Karsten Co Anser Slazenger Jack Nicklaus putter. These were manufactured in very limited quantities for distribution by Slazenger in Canada and the United Kingdom. They were never made available to the general public. Very few remain in solid, playable condition today, nearly 50 years after their release. Interestingly, this example has the "small head" which is just slightly smaller than other Anser models. 35.5" total length with a newer brown genuine leather GripMaster grip. This putter has wonderful weight to it, and fantastic feel at impact. The inscriptions for "PING" and "ANSER" on the back bumpers has faded some due to the softness of the bronze used on these. It can still be seen up close though. My cheap digital camera did a very poor job of capturing this. Given the extreme rarity of this Jack Nicklaus KCO Slazenger Anser, we have decided to open bidding at a very reasonable $1099.00. They list on Ebay UK for more than twice that amount.
