My wife just bought me a new set of G-Max's to have had regular shafts. I wanted to check this out for myself and have a close friend who just happened to be the club maker of the year a few years back who was going to back up my findings. As it turned out I put all the shafts on the machine and tow were determined to be regulars, three were stiff, one was a seniors and the other a ladies. My friend backed me up and but for the ladies shaft which he said was on the bubble between a ladies and senior shaft I was right on the mark. I don't know about you but I was stunned and couldn't believe most players are using shafts that are completely incorrect for their swings. Accordingly, I always change out shafts with my friend. It costs at least $450 but it is worth it. Also of importance is the fact that my set comes with all the wedges which, to me, is much more important than having a set consisting of 4-W as opposed to 4-SW. Why have to run out to get the matching additional wedges which would end up costing another $125 - $175 once again with shafts that may not match. Mine are all 100% frequency matched and all run along the seem. Whoever ends up with this set will be a very happy person for many years to come and will be one club longer than anyone else playing Taylor RSi's. Lastly, my price is extremely reasonable and I don't expect them to be around long. Will accept any type of credit card payment, check, wire transfer, bank check, etc. I don't use Paypal but I make it just as easy to pay.
