It was never going to be easy for Ping to follow the best-selling G30 range but they have ‘smashed it’ again with the new Ping G Range. Taking all the best features from the G30 and adding in a lighter crown and lower leading edge the result equals the easiest to use fairways Ping have ever made. On the shelf the Ping G Fairway looks classy and understated while at address it looks very similar to the G30 Fairway. The stock shaft Alta 65 has been rigorously tested by the Ping to be the best performing for the majority of players available in Soft-Reg for the slowest swings, Regular for average, Stiff for faster and X-Stiff for the fastest swing and they also offer a Tour 80 for highest swing speed players. The Ping G has the standard weight position set for the golfer wanting a neutral ball flight.
