Extremely rare. When was the last time you saw one of these? This is an authentic 1958 Wilson Staff Sand Wedge -- the most coveted SW model ever manufactured. This was the SW that was used on Tour until into the 1980s. Notice the "Tall L" in Wilson, which is how one tells the original 1958s from the many, many, many remakes by Wilson. All original, including leather grip with "Reminder Grip" feature (no longer legal). Leather, embossed, is in very good shape, Black rubber plug in heel. Original red paint still in many grooves and in the iconic arrow. This was a factory-custom manufacture, as shown by the custom number, "SDP552." End cap is original, although original laminated W/S logo has been glued back on. Significant wear, but still a very collectible beauty because of all-original features. Shaft feels quite stiff.
