I have up for sale my set of classic MacGregor Jack Nicklaus Muirfield Tour Forged irons. The Tour Forged version is the rarer, more sought after model line and is identified with Tour Forged inscription on each hosel - see photo 3. This model has a much cleaner look than the later 20th version. The set consists of a full set of 10 irons from the 2 iron through to the Sand Wedge - rare to see these days. The clubs have been fully refurbished in their original satin finish with new premium Golf Pride Z Cord grips fitted. The clubs feature their original True Temper Dynamic stiff shafts, 3 gold ring hosels and gold diamonds down each side of the club faces. As part of the refurbishment I had the lofts strengthened by 2 degrees and the lies made upright by one degree. The lofts bring them up to modern iron specifications. The length of the clubs is standard and the grips have 3 layers of tape under them. Please note that although the clubs are fully refurbished and have no wear marks on the faces they are not as a new set. The heads are in fantastic condition considering they are over 32 years old however, there is very light chatter on the heads. The photos show the actual condition as accurately as I can but please contact me if you want more images. The set is fully matching serial numbers - 21N6Z13 apart from the Sand Wedge These were the same model of clubs used by Nicklaus in the mid 1980s and I have been witness to some of this model also being in Greg Norman's bag during his glory year of 1986.This is a reluctant sale of a truly classic set of irons which are extremely hard to find in this condition. Serious offers considered. The set cost me over £450 to get into this condition so grab a bargain. The irons will come with covers.Buy in confidence from a 100% feedback ebayer.
