Titleist Scotty Cameron Newport 1.5 Prototype putter. Limited edition! All original. Black Pearl finish on putter head and shaft. Stepped shaft. Original grip and shaft band. 35" in length, loft 4°, lie 71°. Head cover included and autograph by Himself. This putter has not been gamed since coming out new in 2003. A little shop wear, the grip is flaking ( as they all do.)The Newport 1.5 started its legacy as a design fashioned from Scotty’s early work. Back then it was referred to as the Classic 1.5 which combines the Newport or Classic 1 head design with a short, semi-offset neck creating more toe-flow and helping square the putter face at impact. The Newport 1.5 has seen many refinements since it started out on Tour in 1993, including 1° more loft for optimal roll. Other improvements are a slightly wider stance with a draft angle on the sole so it sits properly, and a new finish rainbow that is durable, gives excellent feedback to the player, and has a beautiful, classic look. There were 2003 of the Classic 1.5 Prototype made and each comes with a unique, specially made black and yellow grip, and both the head and shaft have the stunning Black Pearl finish. The new Newport 1.5 Prototype, a work that combines craftsmanship and performance, is everything one would expect from the Studio of Scotty Cameron.Check the picture this one is in near perfect condition except for the grip. The shaft and shaft band are also mint! I would change the grip if I was going to keep it. This is the one that is original to the club. The cover is also signed by Scotty!
