MINT Ping ZING 2 4-Si 101 Graphite shaft. PGA Pro seller

Superb set of Ping Zing 2 irons currently set at GREEN code height 5' 10" to 6' 2" but can be adjusted if required FOC. The Zing 2 has the largest hitting area of all ping designs and offers ultimate playability on miss hit shots. Refurbished clubheads and refinished faces give as new performance. The heads are masked and the hitting area sandblasted with aluminium oxide sand particles to leave a matt finish which helps generate more backspin and control. (This is an industry standard process used by all the major club manufacturersand gives the distinctive matt appearance seen on new clubs). Clubs are currently set at GREEN code but can be altered in my workshop if required. Please go to Ping website to determine your exact colour code recommendations for the lie of the clubs. Essentially like a new set of clubs but less than half the original price of £600 back in 1996 Why buy a poorer quality new set when you can have a top of the range mint second hand set for the same money with made to measure options includdd in price. Ping ISI heads are made from 17-4 PH stainless steel . The name comes from the additions 17% Chromium and 4% Nickel. It also contains 4% Copper and 0.3% Niobium. 17-4 PH is also known as stainless steel grade 630. This material has been used by Ping to make clubs that last over 40 years and when cold heat treated to realigned the crystalline structure allows for the club heads to be adjusted for loft and lie to allow for personal customisation, usually this is only available in softer forged heads where they can be adjusted to suit the height of each golfer.
