For the player who wants the best, this is the best set of irons that I have (out of 33 sets). I bought the heads out of Japan and re-shafted them with a set of PURED Dynamic Gold S300 shafts. The heads cost over $500.00 and "Puring" costs $25.00 a shaft. So, up for sale is a rare set of Japanese forged muscle-back blade irons 3 to PW (8 clubs). I think these are forged by Miura. They feel soft as butter when properly struck and click and feel like the 3 sets of Miura forged irons that I have. They are not Endo forged - I had a set of those and these do not feel or sound clunky like them at all. The heads have the benefit of being much bigger than Miura heads in that they are not as compact, I would say that these are the same size as Mizuno MP 14's. Each club sets up beautifully at address, a thin top line and each club matches the other while looking down at them. They are in great shape, frosted chrome finish with a clean and classic look - not mint but 9 out of 10, lightly used by me, no dings or dents with slight club clatter. The PW has the most use as I hope you can see in the first 3 pictures. Grooves are still good but FYI, I touched up the grooves with a Golfsmith groove tool (you cannot see them but they are there and are noticeable upon real close inspection). Standard lofts and lies and standard length - 5 iron is 38 1/2 inches long, PW is 36 inches long. They have been re-gripped with a brand new set of Golf Pride Tour Velvet midsize grips with a rib I installed myself. Shipping, insurance and handling to USA and Canada for $47.00 and I use the Post Office not E-bay so that you can sign for these at your end and not be left on the porch to fend for itself like Pitney Bowes does. These are beauties, if you do not agree, return them unused in the same condition and I will refund your money. P.S. It turns out this is a limited set of 300 heads Mizuno made for the Japanese tour.
