Offered is a restored and playable Spalding "Flying Crow" 3 wood. This club is interesting for several reasons. The "Flying Crow" insert is much more common on steel shafted clubs. This hickory shaft is original as is the "whipping sleeve" which was a very short lived replacement for whipping. I believe the sleeve was short lived due to the advent of steel shafts. This club has been completely restored. The head has been refinished. The shaft has been refinished with traditional asphaltum and 2 coats of TruOil for a hearty finish. Grip is a dark brown cowhide smooth side out. I have NOT played this club. I think it would make a great player or collector.Specs:
