VEGA VC-01 Forged Iron Set - 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 & PWA very traditional looking small cavity design. The cavity is fully CNC milled for the ultimate finish and precision.There is little progressive offset through the set.Satin finishFully CNC milledI have just had these fantastic clubs re-shafted (Shimada) and re-gripped (Lamkin).They have been used with the new shafts just 3 times.I decided to to have them re-shafted using the factory shaft preference which is Shimada.The shafts are the new S-Lite in a regular flex. The characteristics of these shafts are 'light weight feelproducing high launch with mid spin'.I can honestly say these are so easy to use and the feel off the face is so soft...its awesome.The lofts on the clubs have been strengthened by 1 or so degrees so that I didn't lose distance because ofthe forged heads. I am a 17 handicapper and can honestly say the combination with these heads works great.The shorter clubs produce terrific height without ballooning with the longer irons giving a more traditional penetrating ball flight.You must be thinking - why is he selling them if they're so good ....?To be honest, I wouldn't be but for the fact that I've just received news that I have been accepted as a member at a links course.Having played there as a paying guest I know the conditions (windy) do not suit the set up of these clubs.Rather than spend another £300.00 (and that included trading in the original shafts) on a different shaft combinationI have decided to sell these whilst they are in prime condition - but it is a reluctant sale.....The heads have a few dinks and scuffs but are generally very good.
