Mint Mizuno JPX-850 Forged Iron Set 4-PW GW Nippon NS pro 1150 Tour S / PX 5.5

**** CLEAN WELL KEPT WELL MAINTAINED ****I bought these irons last year and when I say these are game improving irons it would be an understatement. I sent them back to Mizuno and had them replace my shafts on the 4,5,6,7 and 8 irons from the standard Project X stiff flex to the Nippon NS Pro Tour stainless steel Stiff Flex. The irons also have the DRiTac grips which I can swear by. They are awesome. About the irons. I am sure you have already reviewed these irons and my repeating the fantastic characteristic features would be like singing to the choir. However I do want to make my own little assessment of the irons to the already existing reviews. After hitting them on the range for a week, I realized it's important to reconfigure my club selection for distances. Going from a Taylormade Tour I had to use one iron less in pretty much all my shots. Definitely added a good amount of distance. What it meant was my 4 iron never got used. Now to my second point. I did not need these irons considering I was always shooting in the low 100's. Yeah you can say I sucked at the game. But today I shoot in mid to high 80's. that was the goal I had set and I have achieved that. These irons have a lot to do with that. You may say I probably got a swing groove going and it may very well be because of the irons. They have awesome balance and even on freezing Sunday mornings the feel on you palms even in a miss hit is rather soft. I believe that is because of the BORON TECHNOLOGY. After 6 years of development - the introduction of BORON to Mizuno's Grain Flow Forging process allows the JPX-850 Forged to overcome the distance limitations of traditional forged irons.
Mizuno's new material is 30% stronger than its traditional 1025E steel billets - allowing for a thinner face and extreme ball speeds. The result is an incredible iron that combines Grain Flow Forged precision and feel with shocking distance. A combination that was unachievable before BORON.This new, thinner face is strategically reinforced by a Power Frame cavity which places weight to the extreme corners of the club head for maximum forgiveness along with increased distance. A clean, sleek design combined with these breakthrough technologies delivers an iron that looks and plays like nothing before.Grain Flow Forged 1025 BORON: 30% stronger material for thinner face and longer distance while delivering soft, solid, consistent feelPower Frame: Enables entire face to flex for increased ball speeds and distanceUltra CNC Milled Pocket: Higher launch angle and increased ball speeds in 4 through 7 ironsGrip Availability: Exclusive MIZUNO/Golf Pride M-31 360 58 Round
