TaylorMade Tour Preferred Ultimate Driving Iron

TaylorMade Tour Preferred Ultimate Driving Iron   Description:Our tour staff came to us with a very specific request. They wanted a new tool in their bags that would deliver the distance and playability of a Rescue®, but the accuracy and workability of an iron. Something they could hit long off the tee and from the fairway that gave them confidence without sacrificing control. We brought them UDI. Available in 1, 2 and 3 irons; the UDI is a hollow construction with a 450 Carpenter steel face with milled score lines. It also features our consistent distance enhancing technology, the Speed Pocket, which allows the face to flex more on low face shots. The KBS Tour C-Taper Lite provides further stability and control in a lighter weight steel shaft. This driving iron carries the Tour Preferred name because it’s built specifically for the discriminating tastes of a better player. Designed for strong playable trajectory with optimum control off the tee and the fairway.   TaylorMade Driving Iron Features: Hollow construction with welded 455 carpenter steel face provides low CG and high ball speed. Advanced Speed Pocket technology for distance, consistency and high launch. Advanced sound dampening system for better feel and sound. KBS Tour C-Taper Lite shaft provides stability and trajectory control Tour prototype with limited availability at retail   “I put Tour Preferred UDI in play the first week it was out because it gave me higher launch than my other long irons and the feel was so solid.  It definitely is more consistent for me on mis-hits, which really helps my game.  Also the workability and high flight really allows me to hit a number of shots, especially when I need to hit a draw.  Overall, putting it in the bag after a few swings told me everything I needed to know about UDI…so it’s a new weapon in my bag”   -Justin Rose, #3 Tour Preferred UDI   “The versatility of the Tour Preferred UDI is why it’s in my bag.  The combination of high launch, distance and soft landings allows me to be more aggressive when I need to hit a big shot.  This club also is extremely workable.  I know that I can hit a variety of shots, especially draws, and be extremely confident that UDI will perform as I need it to.”    -Kevin Kisner, #3 Tour Preferred UDI   “Leading into The Open Championship, I needed something that would go far and cut through the wind to battle the conditions that can change in a heartbeat.  The easy launch and ability to work UDI is a perfect fit for a lot of courses on Tour and I believe it gives me an advantage out there.  For me, anything that goes that far consistently had to go in the bag.”   -Darren Clarke, #2 Tour Preferred UDI USA Shipping:  Puetz Golf is proud to use UPS as its primary shipping provider.
