Ok here we have one of the the best Forged Irons ever made by maybe the best iron player if all time. These are a complete set of 2 through E (pw) irons with the apex #4 steel shaft. The E - 4 have nice very playable royal red and black wrap grips but the 2 and 3 iron need new grips. All matching serial numbers except the 2 iron.In the pictures the 2 iron is the one with a little face discoloration. The rest are very very clean. These are becoming more and rare for a set in this condition. I have had this set for almost 20 years but it's time to part with my old friends. All ferrules intact, shaft bands are intact but some are worn,These are indeed blades but the easiest to hit and control I've ever played. They have a Thin top line, with blade on blade design.Gorgeous irons at set up.These irons helped me to learn how to really play golf not just hit the ball. They've been washed and polished after every round I've played with them.Look at the shine in the pictures. They are of course different lofts than today's irons, please see picture of lofts and lies. The E wedge has a nick on the sole which does not effect play. All other irons are in very nice shape.Shiny chrome, very good grooves no shaft damage, just great clubs. For the collector or player you will not be disappointed in this set.I doubt you'll find a better set for this price. Please examine all photos before bidding.Check reviews for this set, just google 88 hogan redlines........
