FOR AUCTION : Scotty Cameron SANTA FE Putter from the 'Art of Putting' range - refurbishment. The colour achieved is a carbon black. It looks absolutely superb. It's refurbished to be used / cared for along the lines of the old 'Oil Can' method. Length overall - 34 1/2'' Approx. head weight - 330 grms. Lie- 71 degrees Loft- 4 degrees This model design is a design classic from the Scotty Cameron 'stable' and has great lines and would be terrific to play with. It has a carbon steel head weighing circa 330 grms. and the Putter is 34 1/2 " long. The white sight line really stands out at address against the black finish of the Putter and helps alignment at set up. Carbon Steel is a softer metal at impact than other metals used in Putter heads such as Stainless Steel. The putter head has had all the rust spots, 'ding's', 'knocks' and major scratches taken out.Originally nickel plated ,the remains of what was left has been carefully etched off.The head has then been re-polished to a high standard and the words / motifs re-touched as needed. This has been followed by a 4 stage chemical blackening chemical etch that provides a very hard wearing surface. A penetrating oil process is then applied to give up to 18 months of corrosion protection. This can be extended by giving the putter head a careful wipe down with a gun cloth [oil] or similar after each use. It is the way the putter was intended to be used and the ''oil can'' sticker is still intact. Gun cloths can be bought on E Bay for about £6 separately but I will include a 'Remington' one- shot wipe to get you going. The shaft is in very good condition and the grip is a new Black CAMERON 'dancing letters' pistol grip with Red letters. A Brand new Cameron Red ' JUNK YARD DOG' Head Cover is included to round off this offer probably worth £25 - £30 on its own. This quality of refurbishment is rare in this condition today and if properly looked after should hold its value. It will be sent fully protected, boxed, and by a signed for, tracked and insured courier. This would be a great putter to use or for the collector. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I reserve the right to re-list the item should the winning bidder not have settled within 48 hrs. of the Auction ending.
