If your looking at these, I can only tell you what you probably already know....they're phenomenal! Here is a set of Kyoei forged KZG blades, 3-SW, Paderson Kinetixx in S shafts, custom grips, custom ferrules, 1/4" long, standard lie. These are quite possibly the best feeling blades I've ever owned. I am a blade player and have been for years. I have played Miuras (current gamers), Mizuno, Vega, Itobori and virtually every other respected forged iron out there. And in my estimation, these may be the best set of clubs I've had in my hands. I built these new, and I have about 4 range sessions and 3 rounds on them. In that time, I have determined that these clubs do have a couple of things that don't work for me... Firstly, these clubs are too long! Not from a length standpoint, but, from a how far I hit them standpoint. And, because of that, I have created major gaps in my lower yardages. If I didn't have to completely rebuild these, there's absolutely no way I'd be getting rid of them. Typically, I hit my 7 iron about 165-70, and that's the distance I like it to go. With these, I've been launching it 180-85 consistently, and that yardage boost holds true across the set. These things have standard lofts, and by today's club standards, weak lofts (48 degree PW - most are 45-6 or more!). Yet, I have picked up 12-15 yards with every club in the bag. No joke. Imagine my train of thought when that happened! The reason?? The Paderson Kinetixx shafts. These are without question, the best graphite shaft on the market, bar none. Steelfiber's and Recoil's among others, don't even come close to comparing. Not from a quality standpoint, an engineering standpoint, a looks standpoint, a feel standpoint or a playability standpoint. If you don't know about them, I suggest you research them! These are m, without question, the best. There's a reason David Edel (one of the most critical a picky club makers in the world) selected them for his new single length irons that retail for $2300 a set. They're a mid-low launch shaft, however, play (for me anyway) as a mid-high launch, and that is the second issue. The ball flight is entirely too high for me - as a high spin player. For someone else, they're probably perfect! They feel absolutely amazing though, better than ANY shaft I have ever played. Hands down. I got the shafts from a local representative. Got a discount and still paid $62 per shaft. With 11 clubs in this set, you can see why the set ended up costing almost $700 for the shafts alone! They're amazing shafts though, just not right for me. The heads came directly from the KZG Tour Van, and are true 1020 Carbon steel, and feel amazing! Probably the most buttery feeling clubs I've hit since my Miura Tourney blades. They're amazing! Grips are custom from Pure direct. They're the oversized Tour wrap, which are basically new. The ferrules are unlike any set I've ever seen before, and look amazing outside! I built these to not only replace my Miura's, but to look amazing as well. And believe me, they do! People ask about them every time I'm on the range. Again, if the shaft set would have worked for me the way I'd hoped, they would have easily replaced my Miura's. They're that good. Anyway, you could go spend $1500 or better on another set of blades, and not get a set as good (condition or playability wise) as these. But, why would you? You're getting the single best set of players' clubs on eBay, that I can guarantee you. And, to get this set, as custom as they are, for $849 is absolutely ridiculous! You couldn't build them yourself or have your local club fitter build them for anywhere near that price. Especially with these shafts. Check my feedback, I do it right. I sell what I say it is, I'm honest and work hard to deliver what I say I will. I always ship insured to protect both you and I! Let me know if you've got any questions. Good luck!

Swingweight?Answer: These clubs were assembled and completed just after the new year. With regard to them being "spined", because of the way that Paderson assembles their shafts - through fiber compaction and vacuum shaping - there isn't really a "spine" so to speak. Most shafts are assembled on tables and rolled into shape, which does ultimately create a spine. These are made differently than anything else, and subsequently, perform differently than anything else. These shafts are "pured" (which admittedly is probably an unneeded step considering how these are made) however, I have removed the label for a cleaner streamlined look. The shafts were frequency tested and built to about a 6.2 frequency (S+) and the swingweight is a D3.
