Ping i20 iron set in very good condition. 4 iron through to gap (u) wedge. All serial numbers match except the 50 degree gap wedge, which I bought separately. Regular flex and standard length cfs shafts. Black dot lie angle. Ping white code (standard) grips.
I'm only selling these as I've replaced then with a nearly new set of i25 irons in stiff flex. I'm hoping they will perform as well as these i20s, which I've found to be the best irons I've ever owned (and I've had a few!). So far they seem very similar.
The i20s are in very good used condition. Not chipped, bashed or scraped. Same with the shafts and grips. The cfs banding on some of the shafts has come away slightly on a few of of the clubs and I peeled the cfs sticker off the five iron due to this. The seven iron has a small about of scuffing on the rear trailing top edge but doesn't affect it in any way and is so minor I only just noticed it when inspecting them to photograph. It's hardly visible and must have been chattering in the back of my car. There are otherwise very little in the way of bag chatter marks through the set apart from this.
Check the photos on zoom for an idea of the condition of the clubs.
The black in-fill paint on the soles of one or two clubs and the white bottom groove paint has come away slightly.
These are all very minor faults and I'm just being picky. They are much better than many sets of i20s I've seen on eBay described as excellent or immaculate! I'd rate then at between 7.5/8 out of 10. Buyer won't be disappointed.
I'm half hoping they don't sell in case my i25s don't work out as well but I can't justify keeping both sets! Please note that this set includes the gap wedge, which I found to be my favourite club in the set. I paid over £50 for it alone from eBay and they are like hen's teeth in the right flex and lie. Parcelforce 48 is my only option for delivery from here and it costs £11.99. It becomes complicated to remove postage cost from any offers so if anyone wants to send me a best offer, remember the postage will be added on top of your offer price automatically by eBay.
Parcelforce won't guarantee 48 hr delivery from up here in the north of Scotland so it usually takes 3-4 days, tracked. Sadly I don't have access to other delivery options.
