Hi and welcome to my auction for this years must have and class leading irons. The stunning Mizuno JPX 900 Forged is an engineering masterpiece! For sale is my own recently purchased set of eight irons. The set comprises the 4 - GW and all come fitted with the superb UST Mamiya Recoil 95 F4 Stiff shafts and also includes the Mizuno iron covers (shown in my photos). The highly acclaimed Recoil graphite shaft is only 95 grams and plays just like a steel shaft. The slightly lighter weight generates more club head speed yet it maintains the strength, stability and playability usually only associated with steel shafts. If you haven't tried this shaft out yet, and like me you are a more purist golfer who would never have considered graphite shafted irons before, please give them a try at your local pro shop. Like me you will be very very surprised just how far the technology has come. They even look like steel shafts. The flight trajectory, the feedback through the hands (normally lacking in graphite shafts), and the ease in which you can shape shots really persuaded me to go with the Recoils. Read the reviews they have truly gained a huge following and they are making major inroads in to the steel market. My pro said every other set of JPX 900s he sells is being ordered with the Recoils fitted. 100% Genuine Mizuno guaranteed
Lie = Standard Loft = Standard Grip = Golf Pride M31 Tour Velvet standard tape. Shaft = UST Mamiya Recoil 95 Flex = STIFF Length = + 0.25" (Mizuno std iron shaft lengths are 0.25" less than most of the other leading golf brands. The extra 0.25" brings them inline with the normal "standard" lengths). For shaft details and spec please see photo 12 The total cost of this set was £854 (£107 per iron). My "Buy it now" price is a massive £175 below the new price. I ordered the 4 iron to PW from my local pro shop on the 17th October and added the GW 3-4 days later. I received the 4-PW around the 28th October and the Gap Wedge arrived the following week. All eight irons are of identical spec. 4-PW Serial Numbers = 191016C GW Serial Number = 261016C
They will be supplied in the original Mizuno box and includes the Mizuno production order paperwork and the Mizuno dispatch note.
They truly are in fantastic condition with minimal face markings from ball striking as my photos show. Iron covers have been fitted from the moment I took them out of the box. And as they were kept in my 15 way divider bag there is absolutely no bag rub or head clatter markings. I can honestly say that these beauty's really do live up to the hype. They are long, very forgiving and maintain the outstanding legendary buttery feel that only the Mizuno forging process produces....fact. Personally I didn't think Mizuno could improve on last years award winning JPX850 Forged but they have and in abundance too.
Unfortunately due to a reoccurring back injury I am reluctantly forced to give up my beloved golf once and for all and sell all my golf equipment in an attempt to stop me restarting again. Most of which is pretty much new or used just once. (please see my other items as and when I can list them).
My back has limited my golf and therefore playing time with these has been limited to just one game and fifty balls on the range. My photos will clearly show you the excellent condition of them. They have had iron covers fitted since the moment I took them out of the box (these are included too). Please see all my photos to judge for yourself but rest assured they have only played one game. All the club faces, heads, shafts and grips are in exactly the mint condition you would expect but I must mention that the seven iron has what looks like a very small scuff mark (please see photo 7) on the lower left of the face towards the toe. The mark is purely superficial and barely notices and certainly has no impact on the clubs performance, stunning appearance or that wonderful feel. The new owner will not be disappointed with the condition, appearance and the overwhelming quantity of these very special irons.
