Normal wear from use of the clubs. Take a look at pictures for view of the condition of the clubs firsthand. The 5 iron does not have a manufacture serial number stamped into the neck of the club. I purchased on eBay to complete the set about 2 years ago and never noticed until the previous listing. I can include another 690 MB 5 iron that does have a serial number at buyer request. Each of these clubs hit with no problem.Three of the grips are lambkin and the rest are golf pride all tour velvet. As my skill level has digressed over the years I made a mixed set of these with other cavity back clubs (reason for the mixed grips). Now I've reached a point I don't strike the ball well enough to make use of the blade's accuracy and am now willing to split ways. These irons have served me well and they'll do the same for you too.
