Brought to you by: The Babe and George Zaharias Golf Foundation, Inc. Visit us on the web at: Vintage Dinah Shore Macgregor Golf Clubs BGZGF During her visit her in Tampa, with her ( Then present Suitor ) Burt Reynolds. Dinah played golf with her hostess, best friend, A prominent member of the Palma Ceia Golf & C.C.. Dinah enjoyed meeting many clubs members and invited guests while attending a special party given in her honor by her Host and Hostess. It was during this event, her close friend presented Dinah with the latest model of women's golf clubs from MacGregor Golf Company, a company that her husband had retired from but stayed in touch with old friends Byron nelson, Jimmy Demaret and Mike Souchak.Dinah was pleasantly surprised and pleased with her new clubs. She even " showed off " a little by hitting several " Wiffle balls " into the next door neighbors yard.A few days later Dinah and Burt departed Tampa and motored over to Sand Key, part of Clearwater, Florida's beautiful beach community where Burt owned a Condo. In all the travel confusion Dinah forgot her friends gift but promised to pick them up before heading back to California. This never happened, a TV Executive flew the couple back to LA from the Clearwater / St. Pete Airport, this eliminated the trip back into Tampa. These clubs were donated to our foundation by the sister of the above mentioned hostess who passed away. The clubs were received wrapped in crepe paper and a cardboard box. They are in their Original and New Condition. est $800-$1000 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
