This is a super premium, playable persimmon driver.Manufactured from 1948-1952, this MacGregor Tourney, Tommy Armour 693, Oil Hardened driver was considered the finest example of persimmon clubmaking of all time; and this particular club has the finest, tightest grain I have ever seen in a persimmon club---you can count 150 growth rings in the grain, showing that this clubhead was a tree that was growing in the 1700s!With 10 degrees of loft and a titanium stiff plus shaft, this club is 43 1/2" long with a D-2 swingweight and a Lamkin Crossline Cord grip.
