The G hybrid, like many other products in the G line, was created to deliver high launch, greater distance, and maximum forgiveness. PING engineers were able to build the G hybrid with a lightweight crown that allowed the CG (center of gravity) to be moved lower and deeper in the clubhead, which leads to optimal launch, increased MOI, and lower spin rates. Additionally, the G hybrid’s face construction delivers faster ball speeds from impact points across the face.
