The Callaway Apex Hybrid is Callaway Golf's first hybrid that plays like an iron. The design features more iron-like aesthetics, with a longer and thinner head profile. This allows for a smooth transition from irons to hybrid. A precision shape allows the golfer to easily shape the golf ball, with the same CG location as an iron. Callaway have managed to change the ball flight characteristics also, with the Apex hybrid achieving a higher trajectory with greater spin, This allows for greater stopping power when hitting into greens.
