The report has sections on the evolution and historical study of golfing implements - both clubs and balls, golf ball cover aerodynamics, shaft flex dynamics, golf club/ball impact reactions, physical characteristics of club and balls, + more. Included are many photos, charts, and more.It's pretty technical but overall gives a historical perspective and an interesting look into the physics of golf circa 1939. This is from the Robert Mendralla collection, obtained directly from the family. He was with Wilson for many years - designing the 8802 and many other famous Wilson putters, irons and wedges.
