These irons are an enhanced, improved version of Mizuno’s stellar MX-23 irons, the company’s top-selling iron set of all time. Naturally, Mizuno used its renowned Grain Flow Forged® technology in making these irons, but it chose a 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel so they have a softer feel than the MX-23s. A larger (wider, deeper and longer) “Pocket Cavity” gives Mizuno MX-25 irons an extremely low, deep center of gravity for forged irons.Even though they’re forged, Mizuno MX-25 irons put game-improvement technology to good use. They have a huge sweet spot for forged irons, but a cavity pad increases their forgiveness on miss-hits. And because they’re forged, they deliver a soft, solid, smooth feel when you strike the ball well.
