This is the best set your junior can play for competitive golf. Why you ask isn't newer better ? No is the answer. This set is the best because of the grooves. These grooves are grandfathered in to be legal in competition. This is important because kids don't create the club head speed or hit it consistent enough to generate proper spin. This set fixes that by combining one of the best playing and looking irons of all time with a modern Harrison Star Plus low torque Graphite shaft. My Son was a instant star at all the JR Leagues and Clinics he went to because no other kids bagged a set like this. He won several tournaments and Placed first at the National Drive, Chip and Putt regional quailifer with this set. He is sad to let them go but he has outgrown them. You get 5,6,7,8,9,W copper eye 2s and a Raw Cleveland 52 that matches nicely. 5-9 are graphite shafts the wedges are steel shafts. The 5 iron is 35.5 inches and drops in half inch increments. My son played this set from 10-12 he is now a very tall 13 year old. This would work fine for most boys or girls from 10-14. Depending on size. All clubs have JR grips.
