FOR AUCTION :A set of PING S55 IRONS 4 - PW ..... right handed. These have been my 'gamers' since May 2016 but am aquiring a  new set hence this auction.[ Also selling my 'spare' set please see separate listing). They are set up as BLACK DOT which is the regular / standard set up or mid - point in PING's colour way.All PING codes on hosels are the same.In a general very good condition [ see photo's ] for age and a timeless look about them.Fitted with Standard PING original CFS Stiff  Steel Shafts  [which actually sit somewhere between market REG. and STIFF based on ''True Temper'' shaft stiffness - see PING website ]. Your 7 Iron swing speed should be around late 70's to early 80's mph. They have recently been re-gripped with standard PING original equipment ID8 White Code Grips  - again standard - which was about £70 worth. These blade - like Irons are great to look at and to play with. They allow shot making for the more skilled player as well as some forgiveness for the Mid - Handicapper helped by the soft feel given by the CTP [ custom tuning port ]. When you hit the sweet spot - and you know it- you get a strong mid - high flight and a lot of distance particularly on the longer irons.Short irons give a lot of feel and control.PW is a lovely weighted club. There is relatively little offset throughout the set so you probably need to like a smaller club head and have good all round ball - striking ability, and want a set of clubs that have a blade type look but have a little forgiveness built in. They originally cost 'north' of £700 when they first came out. They have been well looked after [ I have always used Neoprene Head Covers with them and cleaned them most weeks ] and whilst there are some playing marks on the soles and faces as Photo's due to general use, they are still in very good playable condition and will last for a long time to come. I'll throw in a set of used covers too as photo's to help protect them. I'd describe them as follows :4i - very small playing marks to sole; face vgc; small mark r/o head.5i - very small playing marks to sole; face GC6i - as 5i tiny leading edge chips and small face marks7i - small leading edge chips; sole has some small scratches ; some small face marks on toe plate8i - as 7i 9i - as 7i but slightly more wear on facePW - small scratch on sole plate and small mark plus few more small chips on leading edge and toe plate of face; some wear marks on face ( probably the most used club) Photo's should give a good general idea of condition but can send more if required. This set is offered at a very fair starting price and you will get as good a club as PING ever 'probably' designed at a very good price. I believe there's little to choose between these and the new 'I' Blade [ not the E1 ] except that these may end up 1/4 of the price of a new set and might be a bit easier to hit. The clubs will be sent protected and Boxed via a ''signed for'' Courier service.Any questions please ask.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I reserve the right to re-list should the Buyer not have settled within 48 hrs. of Auction End.
