Rare 2006 Ben Hogan Apex Edge (pocket cavity) irons. These were one of the first iron designs by Hogan after Callaway assumed ownership of the company. They are forged from a high quality 1020 soft carbon same as Mizuno's irons. These clubs have a similar (but distinctly different) design as the 2002 (Spalding) Hogan Apex Edge, but feature a more distinctly square muscle shape, and were produced from a better quality, Japanese 1020 carbon steel, than the Chinese sourced 1030 steel used when Spalding owned Hogan.
Clubs are fitted with original Apex 4 (stiff) Steel shafts, and Golf Pride New Decade grips. These clubs do show normal wear for their age, but are in outstanding shape, with sharpe grooves and a good finish.
