Description Brand: Bridgestone Gender: Men Model: J40 Dual Pocket Cavity Club Type: Iron Set MPN: JPCR6IM UPC: 760778050941 Shaft Material: Steel
Bridgestone Forged J40 Dual Pocket Cavity 4-PW with X-project 5.0 (the light side of regular stiffness) steel shafts EXCEPT for the 8 iron. OK so let me explain, I love these clubs. They're butter soft, accurate and offer help with mis-hits. Great gamers for mid handicaps. The rub was my swing speed was a bit too fast for the shafts. But because I loved the way the clubs felt and set up etc, I toyed with the idea of having them reshafted. So I had the 8 iron fitted with an Aerotech SteelFiber I95 shaft. $52 dollars later for one shaft I did the math. In the end I bought a new set with stiffer shafts. You can put another 5.0 shaft in the 8 iron but I just played them because the gap between the 9,8 and 7 irons was close enough. The clubs are in very good shape no major rock dings just some normal bag shatter. If you have a decent easy swing I think you will love these clubs. Check my feedback. Thanks for looking.
