Don't know where or when I got this set, just came across them cleaning out garage.
Have no idea of worth, other than a matched set with old bag together is generally worth much more than I am starting at.
Set includes Driver, Brassie, 3 spoon, 4 spoon.
2 iron, Mashie 5, niblick 8 and putter 9. All made in late 1920's best I can tell.
Bag is Tufhorse serial # 005HZ made by Des Moine lether, best I can gather in 1920's.
The irons have the Aim Rite stamped in the face and warranted hand forged, ladies with double circles, the name Eddie Cleary, and A S all stamped on the back.
I believe Wilson is the manufacture from my research.
The shafts on the irons has indestructo stamped on them and are cad plated steel. The woods are persimmion with metal shafts and have an ebony stripe on top with the name Eddie Cleary on them.
From my research I found a Eddie Mae Cleary in West virginia, born in 1903 and died in 1950's.
Check the photos out and if you need more let me know and of what.
I did clean up the 5 mashie a little to verify the stampings.
If anyone knows of this player I would love to hear from you with info.
