A Rare, iconic set of wedges for sale, "Ram "Tom Watson Cobalt Spin Groove Wedges" 53, 55 and 58 degrees. These clubs are the best wedges for feel, spin and playability. These rare wedges were used by many pro's in the past mainly for their incredible spin and feel. Grooves are in great condition because of the hardness of the cobalt make them very durable. 58 Degree is wonderful for Lob and Sand shots, 53 is a pure Gap wedge but is great for chipping, the 55 is the perfect inbetween club for full shots, longer pitches than the 53, longer sand shots, higher chips from around the green, 3 very versatile wedges that would enhance any set of irons. These wedges you have to get used to as they stop quicker than any forged or cast wedge.The rarity of these clubs comes from being removed from production inside a year after the cost of Cobalt went through the roof and the very expensive original price would have had to at least double.Cobalt is a very durable material for golf clubs but outpriced itself for serious production causing these clubs to be extremely sought after, it is very unusual to have 3 come up for sale together.
