I don't even know how to describe these... things. They are forged in the fires of hell, and cured by the tears of angels and virgins. It's the only way that I can describe the feeling of these irons. It's the feeling that keeps you coming back time and time again. When you see your ball fly 25 yards further than your target on a regular basis, you just give in to the despair and realization that you have no control over what they do.
They are teenagers on the marijuana's.. unpredictable, dangerous, criminal... They don't care about your feelings, about how you plead, and beg for them to just go a normal distance. Alas... they hear you, but the one time you decide to club down to allow for this unexplainable phenomenon... your shot will go the exact yardage you would think a 9 iron, or 8 iron, or 7 iron should go. it's the 160 yard approach shots that turn into getting the ball up and down from 25 yards past the green; in the schmeg... the long stuff.. the cabbage, if you will. If you think you can handle these deranged teenager's on marijuana's.... step right up. I've got 21* to 53* in 4* increments, and a 58* to top the set off.. They are built .25" over Titleist spec in the wedges, .5" over in the irons 29-49, and .75" over in the 21 and 25. They are bent flat, because I felt a little... inside out about going over the top... if you catch my drift. Wedges are 2.5 flat from Titleist spec, and irons are 1 flat from Titleist spec.
Rating of these clubs, I'd give a very conservative 7.8/10. Grips are good near the top, I find myself mostly gripping on just above the steel trying to control these animals. Faces are mint, I mostly play out of the rough, so there is a lot of grass between the ball and the club. Soles would be where the rating goes down, mostly because of bag chatter, but let's be honest... Forged clubs, am I right? Taking the sole out of the equation, these are an easy 8.5/10. They've been used for roughly 40 rounds and 15 range sessions.
