For sale is a Brand new set of Taylormade Tour Preferred MC Irons. 4-PW . KBS Tour stiff shaft. I have literally taken the plastic off these clubs and played one round with them. BRAND NEW condition. As you can tell from the pictures. NO BAG chatter, I had always kept iron covers on them when not in use.
KEY TECHNOLOGIES: A “Speed Pocket” design in the 3-7 irons creates more face flex for faster ball speeds and a higher launch.PROS
PLAYABILITY: Excellent all-purpose versatility; thin sole works well through turf and stays nimble greenside; low, flat ball flight destroys wind and can be bent as needed.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: Tons of control -- good swings are greatly rewarded; it does a good job limiting sidespin to keep misses on target; the “Speed Pocket” in the longer irons provides reasonable forgiveness but won’t save your really poor swings.
DISTANCE CONTROL: A few guys have perceptible distance gains compared with their own sticks; consistent yardages and gaps between clubs; less-than-full swings are intuitive.
FEEL: Impact is strong and springy in the long irons, soft and concentrated in the scoring clubs; spot-on weight and balance -- easy to track during the swing; there’s plenty of feedback to let you know how you hit it.
LOOK: Testers appreciate the streamlined design and clean, conservative setup; a minimally offset, easy-to-align blade that tucks away its technology; enough muscle visible to inspire confidence pre-shot.
