I recently sent it to Scotty's shop to have it authenticated & to have a sight line milled into the putter, which really makes a huge difference in this beauty! TERYLLIUM™ NEWPORT® LONG NECK
To lessen the Newport’s toe flow Scotty lengthened the neck creating a putter with more face balance. In this way he was able to create an exceptional new model while retaining the classic lines of the Newport. An inlay of Teryllium, a 12-metal alloy, creates a distinctly soft feel and solid feedback, while an injected elastomer membrane dampens vibration.
