Up for auction is the most exact replica of the Sportsman Wizard 600, Melrose Park, IL ever made . This numbered and limited edition is 35" , factory original and in mint condition with only slight wear to edges (see pics). This Putter, # 1980, is a very exact copy of the one used by Jack Nicklaus to win most of his major championships. Bristol created this in 1959 along with famed putter guru George Low, and the highly popular Wizard 600 was used by famously by Jack Nicklaus . Only a very very small number of those originals were made and even less have survived. This Ltd. Edtn.reproduction is based on exact models purchased by the Hansbergers several years back (two of which I sold personally) and is exact in almost every regard including the exact stitched leather grip and face milling that was present on the originals.
This comes complete with its original knitted putter cover with some slight fraying and stitched leather grip. No box or certificate but this is a nice collectors piece to display or actually play (esp. if you know someone born in 1980!). Selling this as is, all sales final. Thanks for watching!
