10.5 degree 460cc Bombtech 'Grenade' driver. Please see all the pictures, there are two minuscule marks on the face which i have tried to show but they are barely visible and will in no way affect the performance. What to say.... Saw these drivers advertised on line and to be honest thought it was a bit of a hoax. Did some more research and checked out a few reviews from golf digest, todays golfer and also a few forums and it was all really positive. I chop and change pretty often with drivers so was willing to sling another one in the bag just incase it was a match made in heaven. I did the online fitting for swing speed, ball flight etc but despite being pretty tall i usually have my woods shorter than stock length to give a better chance of control. This model has been made to a 44.5 inch length as opposed to the standard 45-46 inch off the peg (depending on manufacturers.) The shaft is a custom Matrix shaft, made specifically for Bombtech. The shaft details are available at www.bombtechgolf.com The grip is excellent in fact one of the best all weather grips i have used. Was contemplating swapping it to my other driver but want to keep this original as i have decided i like my Mizuno and trusty R11 from a looks and performance view better. Only by a minuscule amount though!! The performance is excellent, the dispersion is pretty tight even with my erratic swing, the flight is mid to high and there is plenty of roll out. It was,in truth, slightly longer than any of my other drivers. (I took four drivers with me to the course when i tested it!) but for me the shaft is a little bit whippy. I could change the shaft but these guys have spent an age developing the right concept. It's just my swing works better with a higher torque and a higher kick point so i am sticking with my Oban shaft fitted drivers. Please see the Bombtech website. It was £219 to buy but that was exclusive of the £65 import tax slapped on at customs so i am taking a hit but it needs someone who will appreciate how good it is.
