Rare Vintage Trinket Jewelry Box Sterling Top Lady Woman Golfer Relief

Offering a wonderful antique (ca. 1900) Trinket Box with Cut Glass Base and Sterling Top. The cover is marked STERLING on the side (see photo). A woman golfer in relief embellishes the cover -- against a background of trees and the golf club house, she has the club up over her shoulders, her feet solidly positioned, her skirt swinging, ready to make a hole in one!!! Wonderful detail. The underside of the cover has a gold, vermeil wash. The crystal base has a ribbed pattern with cut notches. This "gem" is in excellent vintage condition, with no cracks, chips or stains. Please note we have not polished the lid. There are a couple, infinitesimally small fleabites along the inner rim of the glass box. This box is a work of art -- excellent quality. A rare find for the golf enthusiast!! Measurements are, 1 1/2" in height (including cover)and 2 1/4" in diameter.
Once the item is purchased, it will be shipped promptly within three business days of receiving cleared payment. We ship Monday through Friday. We generally ship USPS Priority Mail, Parcel Post or Fed Ex. If the item fits in a Manila envelope, it will be shipped First Class. We wrap all our items very carefully. If items are damaged in transit, we will provide the necessary paperwork for the buyer to file a claim. In order for a claim to be filed, buyer must keep all original packaging and take photos of the damaged item(s).
Payment must be received within three days at the latest. PayPal only please. We do our best to provide quality pictures, accurate descriptions and proper measurements. For these reasons, we do not accept returns unless item has been significantly misrepresented. In this instance, you must contact us within 24 hours to resolve the issue.
