Description
Item for sale is a very rare set of Ben Hogan Ft. Worth 15 forged irons, and a TK forged wedge. Set includes 7 clubs in lofts of 26*-50*. Irons are standard lie and length. Clubs are fitted to KBS Tour V 110 stiff flex shafts, and have new Iomic X-Evoloution grips. Irons have consistent 4* gaps trough-out the set. The lofts actually match club for club with many previous Hogan iron sets like the Apex Edge Pro, Apex 99, etc.. This set was purchased second hand shortly after these great looking blades were made available. Upon purchasing them it was noticed the clubs had no serial #s. I made a couple very helpful calls to Ben Hogan customer service, and was informed that all irons even demo clubs had serial #s. After about 30 minutes, the very helpful Hogan CS department was able to track the origin of this set to a Country Club in Ohio. I was told that I had acquired one of the first 15-20 sets to be forged in the new Ft. Worth factory. They are part of a special first run of sets that were initially sent out to Hogan loyalists, among others. Irons are in excellent shape, haven't seen much use. Clubs have been kept in black Hogan neoprene covers, which are included. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking
