A 2001 Titleist DCI Tour Golf Bag used in Competition by Luke Donald - England

Here we have a very unusual piece for the serious Golf collector. This Titleist DCI tour bag was used by Luke Donald as he completed for England in the 2001 European Mens Amateur Team Championship which was held at Ljunghusen Golf Club in Sweden. Donald and the team finished 3rd in the Championship beating Iceland in the 3rd place play-off. The bag is emblazoned with a large English rose and contained within are the original local rules for the Team Championship and also for the final round of qualifying for the 130th British Open (which he failed to qualify for) meaning this bag was probably used in that tournament too. Less than a month later Luke Donald turned professional and would eventually in 2011 become world number 1 spending so far a total of 56 weeks as the world's highest ranked golfer. The bag is in good order with very little signs of wear just a bit dusty etc from storage. A good clean and it would look like new once again. This is a very rare piece and would be a great way to show off on the golf course, your friends may have newer bags but they wont have one previously used by a world number 1! A great piece of sports memorabilia ideal for any serious collector of match worn golf items. Please make sure you view the photographs closely a they make up a large part of the description, if you need to know anything specific please just ask. Please my other items as I have a lot of high quality interesting items for sale. Please be aware that although postage is free within the UK preference will be given to offers from people who intend to collect. If no international postage is offered and you would like it sent anywhere in the world please contact me for a quote.Buyer collection is always possible (5 mins from J8 of the M40).*refund paid upon return of the same lens, return postage not refunded.
