This auction is for a Scotty Cameron Oil Can finish Newport putter. This particular putter has the sought after oval cavity design. The putter has been refinished back to original specs, including the half cord grip, at Scotty Cameron Studios and is in like new condition. The putter has not been used since the restoration was completed. A black Art of Putting headcover is included.
The Newport model draws its inspiration from the Classic 1, one of the first putters produced by Cameron Golf International in late 1992, and made famous in the 1993 Masters win. The Newport has a plumbing neck for 1/4 toe hang and optimal toe flow. The radius topline and softened edges create a more natural, less mechanical look, and the use of solid carbon steel and one piece milling produce better sound and feel.
